Published on .

Minneapolis--Reflecting the advertising industry's trend of consolidation in order to extend global reach, Fallon McElligott announced Wednesday it is now part of the Paris-based Publicis Group, Europe's largest agency. Under terms of the deal, Fallon will retain its name and management structure, but will be wholly owned by Publicis and have access to the agency's international network of marketing communications firms. Publicis also acquired Duffy Design & Interactive, Fallon's design and e-commerce subsidiary. Fallon's business-to-business accounts include EDS Corp. and Navistar.
