Publicis Groupe to acquire Rosetta for $575 million

Paris—Publicis Groupe has agreed to acquire Rosetta Marketing Group, Princeton, N.J., for $575 million in cash. Under the acquisition, Rosetta will operate as a stand-alone agency within Publicis Groupe, and it will continue to operate under the Rosetta name. Rosetta CEO Chris Kuenne will continue to lead the agency and will report to Jean-Yves Naouri, COO of Publicis Groupe. The addition of Rosetta to Publicis' digital agencies, including Digitas, Razorfish and Publicis Modem, will bring Publicis Groupe's annual digital revenue to more than 30% of its total business, Publicis said in a statement.
