Putnam Investments debuts TV campaign

Boston—Putnam Investments has introduced a network television campaign to promote its exclusive sponsorship of the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding.

The ad campaign debuted Sunday on NBC during its broadcast of the World Cup downhill races at Beaver Creek, Colo. The new campaign is designed to complement Putnam’s existing online and print ad effort, which is aimed at investors and showcases the success of Putnam’s portfolio managers.

“We feel a direct connection between the drive and determination of these athletes and the commitment to excellence we share at Putnam Investments,” said Putnam CEO Robert Reynolds, in a statement. “Ours is a performance-driven and integrity-based business, and we hope to convey that spirit in our new campaign.”
