Putnam taps Enron vet as technology chief

Boston--Money management giant Putnam Investments Inc. has tapped Philippe Bibi as senior managing director-chief technology officer, a new position. Bibi, previously managing director-chief technology officer at Enron Corp., will oversee all Putnam's technology development and integration. Before joining Enron in 1995, he was senior VP-global systems at Lehman Brothers. Putnam manages $345 billion for 2,500 institutional clients.
