PWC forecasts robust Internet ad growth

London—Internet advertising will experience a 19.5% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) through 2012, according to consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Global Entertainment and Media Outlook: 2008–2012, which was released Wednesday.

The report anticipates a 6.6% global CAGR for the entertainment and media sector, with total revenue expected to reach $2.2 trillion in 2012.

B-to-b publishing will experience a 3.2% CAGR, according to the report.
