Questex said 15 of its employees will become SMS employees as part of the move. Questex had not responded by deadline to questions about how much money the company expected to save and how many jobs would be cut.
Advanstar Communications announced in April that it was outsourcing production-related functions for its publications to HCL Technologies. Advanstar said it would cut about 100 jobs as a result of the move.
