Published on .

New York—Thomson Media, a unit of Thomson Corp., announced Thursday that it has appointed Frank Quigley as group publisher of the professional services publishing group.

The group was recently formed through the combination of Thomson's technology and investment management groups. It includes such products as Financial Planning, On Wall Street, Employee Benefits News and DM Review.

"Frank has most recently led the technology publishing group through a very challenging 18 months and has proven his ability to grow revenue and profits with new-product enhancements and marketing strategies," Bruce Morris, exec VP of Thomson Media's publishing and conference group, said in a statement.

Prior to joining Thomson in 2002, Quigley was an executive with Ziff Davis Media and Post-Newsweek Tech Media Group.
