R.R. Donnelley acquires software company Sequence Personal

Chicago—Printing giant R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. has acquired New York-based Sequence Personal, a software company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Sequence's custom publishing software is designed to enable readers to select content to be digitally produced as a specialized publication. The software also enables publishers to create more targeted content for readers and advertisers. “This will be a superb fit with our CustomPoint Solutions Group, which is helping customers implement a host of innovative content creation, management and delivery services,” R.R. Donnelley President-CEO Thomas J. Quinlan III said in a statement. Jordan, Edmiston Group represented Sequence Personal in the deal.
