Randall-Reilly, ‘The Atlantic' introduce iPad versions

Tuscaloosa, Ala.—Randall-Reilly Publishing Co. announced Thursday that it has created digital versions of its trucking publications that are available on the iPhone and iPad. The brands available for free on the Apple devices include Commercial Carrier Journal and Truckers News.

The digital versions were developed by Digital Magazine Technology, a Randall-Reilly company based here.

On Friday, The Atlantic also introduced an iPad version of its publication. The magazine had previously introduced two free apps for the iPhone and iPad.

Dow Chemical is the launch sponsor for The Atlantic's iPad edition, which is priced at $4.99. RareWire, Kansas City, Mo. developed the edition.
