New York--Technology consulting firm Razorfish Inc., considered the poster child for the tech boom and bust in Silicon Alley, agreed on Friday to be bought by privately held consulting firm SBI and Co. for about $8.2 million, the companies said in a joint statement. SBI said the deal allows it to expand into more U.S. cities and build its customer list. A tender offer is scheduled to begin within 10 days and the companies expect the deal to close in the first quarter of 2003. The boards and management of both companies have approved the deal.
