San Diego-Vistainfo, a b-to-b company focused on the real estate industry, said it will lay off 6% of its work force, consolidate core businesses and sell a consumer-oriented portal. Vistainfo said the moves were being made to cut costs by $5.5 million in fiscal 2001. The company said its businesses will share support services, rather than operate as stand-alone entities.
