Redwood City, Calif.--RealNames Corp. said Thursday that it has integrated with the Microsoft Universal Description Discovery and Integration registry site. RealNames is a business service that allows marketers to establish a corporate presence on the Web that eschews unwieldy Web addresses. Instead, people enter only a keyword in the address bar of their browser. UDDI is a site that allows businesses to set up descriptions of their operations in a standard format. The integration means registrants to UDDI will have RealNames identifiers automatically generated.
