Redesigning your blog to drive reader behavior

By Published on .

Jay Baer on his Convince & Convert blog says that sometimes a blog site is overdue for a redesign in order to trigger desirable behaviors in readers. Baer explains the current redesign efforts at Convince & Convert and suggests others may wish to follow suit. Among his goals: emphasizing that the blog is a company, “not a guy”; explaining the blogger's business goals better; showcasing such other offerings as podcasts and speaking services; and increasing depth of visits. Your goals may be different, but it's worth checking to see if your current blog design fully supports them, Baer says.
