New York--Spending on customer relationship management software is expected to reach $10.4 billion in 2001, up 167% from $3.9 billion in 2000, according to a new report from eMarketer Inc. The report confirms what many analysts had suspected: While traditional and online ad spending is holding steady or in some cases declining, CRM spending is increasing markedly.
