Menlo Park, Calif.—Marketing and advertising executives anticipate a significant increase in hiring activity in this year's third quarter, according to a new study from staffing services company Creative Group.
According to “The Creative Group Hiring Index for Marketing and Advertising Professionals,”
22% of the 500 executives interviewed by phone in April said they plan to add full-time staff in the next three months. This compares with only 12% who anticipated hiring in the second quarter.
Web design/production, brand/product management and print design/production are the specialties in greatest demand, according to the survey.
