Chantilly, Va.—A large proportion of small and midsize businesses use customer loyalty programs that provide special offers and rewards for frequent customers, according to a report from BIA/Kelsey. According to BIA/Kelsey's “Local Commerce Monitor,” 38% of SMBs currently offer a customer loyalty program, with an additional 21% stating they will likely add such a program in the next 12 months. BIA/Kelsey's study was based on an online survey conducted in July of 568 small and midsize companies.
