Report: ZelnickMedia, Crovitz mulling bid for ‘BusinessWeek’

New York—Investmnet firm ZelnickMedia has teamed with L. Gordon Crovitz, former publisher of The Wall Street Journal, potentially to bid on McGraw-Hill Cos.’ BusinessWeek, according to a BusinessWeek blog.

Bloomberg is currently seen as the front runner for the magazine. The relationship between ZelnickMedia and Crovitz was not specifically defined in the post. Crovitz is currently a partner with Steven Brill and Leo Hindery in Journalism Online, a firm founded to help newspapers find a way through the current crisis.
