Reports: Former Yahoo Interim CEO Levinsohn leaving company

Sunnyvale, Calif.—Yahoo Inc.'s Ross Levinsohn, former interim CEO, is leaving the company today after being passed over for the top job in favor of Marissa Mayer, according to reports in Bloomberg Businessweek and Business Insider. Levinsohn had been in charge of Yahoo's sales, business development and media divisions and was named interim CEO after Yahoo's previous CEO, Scott Thompson, left amid questions about the veracity of his resume. Mayer, previously a senior executive at Google, took over as Yahoo's president-CEO earlier this month. In another high-profile departure from Yahoo, Marc Grabowski, VP-media sales and the head of Yahoo's Boston sales office, has left the company, according to Business Insider.
