Reprint Management Services buys NXTbook

Lancaster, Pa.--Reprint Management Services, a reprint marketing and production company, announced Wednesday it has acquired NXTbook Media, which produces digital versions of print magazines as well as brochures and other print materials.

NXTbook's technology competes with that provided by Zinio Systems and other companies.

NXTbook will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of RMS. Spencer Ewald, the former president of NXTbook Media will oversee the subsidiary as VP-founder.

“We are extremely excited about this acquisition because it leverages our strength in the publishing industry,” Michael Biggerstaff, president-CEO of RMS, said in a statement.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
