San Bruno, Calif.—Responsys Inc., originally an email service provider but now expanding into multichannel marketing services, announced a new technology that enables marketers to leverage display ads as part of a cross-channel marketing campaign.
The company's new Responsys Interact for Display tool adds the management of online ads to the company's existing email, mobile and social marketing tools. According to the company, the tool pinpoints when a potential customer is ready to convert or make a purchase, analyzing CRM data, email actions, social sharing and other behaviors.
In April, Responsys went public,
raising $80 million. Last month, the company opened an office in Munich.
