Responsys, OneSource announce partnerships with Salesforce.com

San Francisco—E-mail service provider Responsys and data provider OneSource Information Services have formed new partnerships with CRM provider Salesforce.com.

OneSource, a Donnelley Group company of infoUSA, on Monday announced the launch of Account Intelligence, a product that will integrate OneSource data directly with Salesforce.com CRM applications. Separately, OneSource announced it has aggregated data from six new content providers in the U.K., Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Responsys said it plans to announce Tuesday at the Salesforce.com user conference that it has integrated its new Interact Connector with the CRM service to allow markers to create and send e-mail campaigns within the Salesforce.com Web-based application.

"We’ve automated the function," said Scott Olrich, CMO of Responsys. "Normally, you’d pull the list, take the data, import it into your e-mail application, send the campaign, get the results and then import it back into the system," he said. "We’ve made it so much easier for marketers."
