New York—Return Path, an e-mail performance management company, has signed an agreement to acquire all operational, marketing and development activities for Ironport Systems’ Bonded Sender Program. Bonded Sender is a 3-year-old anti-spam program that requires legitimate e-mail senders to post a financial bond to guarantee their e-mail is not spam. E-mail security company Ironport will continue to provide infrastructure for Bonded Sender and will become a Return Path shareholder. Ironport’s founder and CEO, Scott Weiss, will join Return Path’s board of directors.
