Return Path adds real-time e-mail customization

New York—Return Path, known primarily for its e-mail whitelist deliverability service, has added the capability of sending real-time offers and pricing, as well as geographic targeting, in e-mail campaigns.

The new service, developed in partnership with Sympact Technologies, allows marketers to deliver content customized to when a recipient opens or reopens an e-mail, rather than when it was sent. Also the service can deliver geographic and time-specific e-mails, based on local events and conditions, according to the company.

With the new offering, Return Path continues to expand beyond its core e-mail deliverability services. Earlier this month Return Path rolled out multivariate testing of e-mail content and creative, and last month the company introduced an in-video e-mail solution.
