Reuters offers new financial data layouts to newspapers

New York—Reuters, a unit of Thomson Reuters, announced Thursday that it will offer U.S. newspapers customizable, print-ready financial data layouts via automated delivery. The new service, Reuters Financial Infographics, is available at “an attractive price,” according to the company.

The service uses Thomson Reuters information to provide camera-ready pages and graphs that can be customized to individual newspaper requirements. “RFI was created as part of a larger strategy to address the challenges facing media owners today,” Christoph Pleitgen, managing director of Reuters, said in a statement. “Our media customers told us they need more than content; they need work-flow solutions.”
