Reuters.com tests new home page

New York—Reuters.com is beta testing a new home page format and plans to roll out the design on the rest of the site in the next few weeks. “The main goal of this refresh is to display more of our terrific content and to provide a clearer snapshot of top news stories,” said Chrystia Freeland, editor of Thomson Reuters Digital, in a statement on the site. Freeland said the new design is part of Reuters News' efforts, led by Editor in Chief Steve Adler, to develop a stronger consumer-facing presence online.
