RIM searches for new creative agency for BlackBerry

Published on .

Chicago—Research in Motion, the parent company of BlackBerry, is conducting a search for a new advertising agency to handle its estimated $200 million U.S. creative account, according to Advertising Age, a sibling publication of BtoB. BlackBerry's current advertising agency is Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, which confirmed it is not participating in the review. “We have decided not to participate in BlackBerry's U.S. creative review, as we are instead moving forward with and growing our Samsung client partnership,” Burnett said in a statement. Research in Motion declined to comment.
