About.com rolls out online advertising ‘guidesite’

New York—About.com, an online guide that is owned by the New York Times Co., Tuesday introduced onlineadvertising.about.com.

The “guidesite” offers users an overview of the fundamentals of online advertising, such as finding a job in online advertising, choosing an agency partner and behavioral targeting of online ads. It also provides information about media buying, measurement and delivery.

About.com attracts about 34 million unique monthly visitors, according to Nielsen//NetRatings.
