Rosen named managing editor of 'Women's Wear Daily'

New York--Fairchild Publications announced that Richard Rosen has been named managing editor of Women’s Wear Daily.

Additionally, Dianne Pogoda has been named the publication’s managing editor/special reports, a new position. Both appointments are effective April 12.

Rosen previously held senior positions at Bloomberg News and New York Daily News. Pogoda has served as managing editor of WWD since 1999.

"Women's Wear Daily has grown dramatically over the past several years, both as a business and in its editorial scope. That growth originated in the daily paper and evolved into an expanded offering of special reports and increasingly sophisticated magazine editions,” Ed Nardoza, Women’s Wear Daily’s editor-in-chief, said in a statement.
