Roving, Elibrium in deal to sell e-mail marketing software

Needham, Mass.--Roving Software Inc. and the Equilibrium division of ClickAction Inc. said they will co-market and distribute Roving's Constant Contact Web-based e-mail marketing software to small businesses through a retail channel. Equilibrium's parent company, ClickAction, provides electronic messaging and CRM products to the enterprise market. The Rover partnership gives it entrée into the small-business market, the company said. The software will be available beginning in April in more than 2,000 retail outlets including Staples, Office Depot, CompUSA, MicroCenter, and Fry's Electronics, priced at $39.95, which includes up to six months' use of the service.
