New York—A campaign out of Singapore, Saatchi & Saatchi’s direct mail campaign for the Republic of Singapore Navy, won the Maxwell Sackheim Best in Show Award at the 28th Annual John Caples International Awards Thursday night. The awards are given for innovative direct marketing and interactive marketing campaigns.
There were a total of 121 winners, with 20 first place winners. Four first place awards went to b-to-b campaigns.
OgilvyOne Worldwide won on behalf of Telefonica Espana for its “Musical Chairs” campaign; Arc Worldwide London won for its Alfa Romeo “Paperclip” campaign aimed at fleet managers; Brazil’s Salem won for its “Museum” campaign on behalf of Communique-se; and CP Comunicacion Proximity won for an in-house campaign called “Celia Perez’s Album.
