Safeco launches new institutional marketing strategy

Seattle--Safeco has introduced a new institutional marketing strategy for its investment and insurance products. They will be marketed under a joint Safeco Life & Investments banner to more clearly communicate the company's breadth of financial services. Previously, Safeco's investment and life insurance products were marketed under separate banners. The financial adviser and institutional campaign is part of a larger Safeco marketing initiative that is also geared toward retail clients. Safeco's move is part of a growing trend among financial services firms to combine product marketing messages aimed at the key institutional investor market.
