Salesforce extends Marketing Cloud social analytics

Published on .

San Francisco—Salesforce.com Inc. has enhanced its Marketing Cloud social media marketing suite to include the social measurement capabilities of 20 third-party analytics vendors. Launched last month, the service combines social listening and analytics technology from Radian6, which Salesforce acquired in 2011, and content publishing and social media management solutions from Buddy Media, acquired this summer. The upgraded Marketing Cloud now features metrics supplied by social analytics vendors such as Clarabridge Link, Klout, Kred, Rapleaf and Trendspottr. Marketing Cloud offers support for content in 17 languages as well as multiple Chinese social media platforms, according to Salesforce. Pricing starts at $5,000 per month.
