Salesforce launches ExactTarget Marketing Cloud

San Francisco—Salesforce.com Inc. has completed the integration of ExactTarget Inc., which it acquired in June, and relaunched its technology as an augmented suite of marketing tools. The new offering combines ExactTarget's email, mobile, Web, marketing automation and analytics capabilities with Salesforce's Buddy Media social media publishing application, its Radian6 social listening tool and its Social.com social advertising platform, the company said in a statement. The Salesforce ExactTarget Marketing Cloud will available as an integrated suite or as standalone applications. It is expected to be generally available by the first quarter of 2014, the company said.
