San Francisco—Salesforce.com Inc. is partnering with Facebook Inc. for targeted ad delivery, tying Salesforce's new socially driven Marketing Cloud
product with Facebook's ad targeting service
introduced last month.
According to a Salesforce blog,
Marketing Cloud users can match their target audience with active Facebook users and have Facebook send only those people a special ad.
Facebook won't reveal its users' identities to the Salesforce system, Salesforce said.
