Samsung launches Four Seasons of Hope Charity

New York--Samsung Electronics Co. kicked off its Four Seasons of Hope National Charity with a star-studded event May 16. The program features four charities linked to star athletes, and will be supported by Samsung's retail partners. The charities are Joe Torre Family Foundation, Boomer Esiason Foundation, Magic Johnson Foundation and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women. The retailers--Best Buy for basketball; Sears, Roebuck and Co. for football; CompUSA for golf; and Radio Shack for baseball--will encourage their customers to donate to the charities.
