Weinheim, Germany—Operations and marketing technology company SAP has released a new tool that analyzes social sentiment to augment CRM database profiles.
SAP's Social Contact Intelligence application uses natural-language processing and predictive analytics to identify the sentiment, including likes and dislikes, expressed socially by contacts within a company's CRM database, SAP said in a statement.
The new tool is in beta with a small set of customers. It is part of SAP's Customer Engagement Intelligence application, which also includes segmentation targeting, customer value analysis to identify cross-selling opportunities and mobile sales tools.
