San Francisco--SAP AG, the Walldorf, Germany-based enterprise software giant, said Monday that it has integrated the Java 2 Enterprise Edition software as part of its latest Web application server. The company said the move underscores its commitment to the Java development community, which can use the application server to deliver applications to people using its mySAP.com Internet interface. The announcement was made at the JavaOne conference, which began today in San Francisco. IBM Corp., BEA Systems Inc. and other large companies are also expected to make J2EE-related announcements during the four-day event.
