New York—Conde Nast's Fairchild Fashion Group has named Will Schenck as its VP-chief revenue officer, according to a report last week on Fairchild's WWD.com.

Schenk, who will begin his new role May 10, is joining Fairchild from Rolling Stone, where he was publisher. In addition to overseeing WWD, Footwear News, Menswear, Fairchild Summits, Fairchild Books and trade shows, Schenck will also take on the responsibilities of WWD Publisher Chris Guilfoyle, who is leaving the company.

Schenck will report to Gina Sanders, president-CEO of Fairchild. “Will possesses natural leadership ability coupled with formidable sales management and marketing skills,” Sanders said in the WWD.com story. “He is very strategic, takes a solution-based approach to clients' needs, and I am thrilled to work with him again.”

Prior to joining Wenner Media, Schenck worked at Conde Nast's Vanity Fair and Gourmet.
