Schurenberg named editor of 'Inc.'

Published on .

New York—Mansueto Ventures has named Erick Schurenberg the new editor of Inc. Previously the editor of Inc.com, Schurenberg succeeds Jane Berentson, who is now the brand's international editor and will move to London. The naming of Schurenberg is part of a move to integrate Inc. and Inc.com's editorial staffs, which had operated independently. Before joining Inc.com, Schurenberg had been editor in chief of CBS MoneyWatch.com and BNET.com. “Given our significant audience growth in the past two years and our readers' growing preference for accessing Inc. through multiple channels, a unified editorial team will better serve the needs of our audience, increase the value we deliver to our customer and strengthen Inc.'s leadership position in the important small-to-midsize business market” said Bob LaPointe, president of Inc., in a statement.
