Schwab marketing Net-based seminars for adviser firms

San Francisco--Schwab Institutional, the financial adviser firm subsidiary of Charles Schwab & Co., is launching a series of Internet-based investing seminars. The seminars, which are interactive and will focus on subjects such as global investing and options, are being marketed to adviser firms over Schwab's Web site (www.schwab.com). Featured online guests will include Irene Chang, managing director of Scudder Kemper Investments, New York. Schwab Institutional owns 77% of the key adviser firm marketplace.
