Scranton Gillette acquires two health care publications

By Published on .

Arlington Heights, Ill.—Scranton Gillette Communications has agreed to acquire the assets of two medical trade magazines, Imaging Technology News and Diagnostic & Invasive Cardiology, from Reilly Communications Group.

“This acquisition opens up a new market with excellent growth potential for Scranton Gillette. Health care has been identified as a market of interest by Scranton Gillette for a long time,” Ed Gillette, president-CEO of Scranton Gillette, said in a statement.

Scranton Gillette has been one of the few active buyers in b-to-b media in recent months. In February it acquired Residential Lighting from Vance Publishing Corp.
