Sears' hub, Transora form venture

Chicago-Two high-profile e-marketplaces, the Sears, Roebuck & Co.-led GlobalNetXchange and consumer goods e-market Transora, formed a new joint venture Monday to create a new megahub to enable exchange-to-exchange trading. The companies said they will also invite other exchanges to be part of the venture. The hub will provide exchanges with low-cost electronic data interchange and extensible markup language services to help companies transport data between e-marketplaces.
