Service looks for trademark infringement on Web

Published on .

Seeking a foothold in a burgeoning market, Only Solutions USA Inc., San Francisco, announced Monday a service to detect trademark infringements across the Web. The service, which scans photos to find abuses within an image, is priced beginning at $1,200 per search. Only Solutions has landed shoe company Adidas-Salomon AG as an account for its services. The new service competes with those of ImageLock Inc., San Francisco, and Cyveillance, Arlington, Va. The International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition estimates all forms of trademark infringement account for $200 billion in losses annually in the United States.
