Producer comment: "This year we undertook a major expansion of the [ASD/ AMD] Jewelry Show, increasing the floor space by more than 40%," said Greg Sadoian, sales manager-gift and jewelry. "Our exhibitors were very supportive of this move as the demand for space at the show has been building exponentially over the last several years. This has allowed us to organize the show along category lines that have proved beneficial for exhibitors and buyers alike."
Exhibitor comment: "The jewelry show has been a great experience for us," said Kozet Oganesian of inStyle Jewelry. "We've been able to connect with many, many customers that we would normally never have seen; there are a lot of crossover buyers that you don't find at other shows."
Breakdown: This year, the ASD/AMD Jewelry Show's numbers were impressive; they showed increases in floor space, attendees and exhibitors. Show organizers attributed this to several factors, including the fact that the show's environment creates a targeted marketplace that streamlines the buying experience, allowing attendees to see more companies and exhibitors to have good cross-selling opportunities. The ASD/AMD Jewelry Show runs in conjunction with the ASD/AMD Trade Show-Las Vegas, and ASD/AMD's Las Vegas Gift Expo, giving jewelry show exhibitors access to buyers they wouldn't normally find at other jewelry shows?notably gift store buyers and independent retailers. ?Tequia Burt
