Published on .

Armonk, N.Y.--Siebel Systems Inc. and IBM Corp. Thursday announced plans for an on-demand hosted customer relationship management service.

A $10 million-plus integrated marketing campaign for the new service launches Friday. IBM agency Ogilvy & Mather, New York, created the campaign.

The two companies will develop, sell, and service the Web-based Siebel CRM OnDemand, which will be targeted at small and midsize businesses and will go head to head with Web-based competitors such as Salesforce.com.

Siebel CRM OnDemand, which the companies will promote through their direct sales forces, will be available for $70 per month per subscription.
