Simon & Schuster selects Responsys for e-mail marketing

San Bruno, Calif.—Book publisher Simon & Schuster, a division of CBS Corp., has selected Responsys to develop and execute automated e-mail marketing programs. Responsys will work with the publisher to send subscribers personalized e-mails delivering the latest news, book releases, author updates and videos, based on their preferences and interests. Responsys will also send automated alerts that notify fans of author activity, such as local and national appearances, awards, new books or videos.
