Site developer NetSales to fold

Published on .

Overland Park, Kan.--NetSales Inc., a developer and host of b-to-b Web sites, announced it would cease operations within 90 days. The company cited the weak technology market for its demise. "The rates of adoption for midmarket companies occurred much more slowly than we anticipated," said Jeff Reene, president-CEO, in a statement. "Although we have mastered the technology and built a great team, the current market won't support our efforts." NetSales' clients include AOL Time Warner Inc. and Wells Fargo & Co.
