More sites offer Unicast Video Commercial ad format

Published on .

New York--Unicast announced Wednesday that Forbes.com, weather.com, CondéNet, Discovery iMedia, and MaxOnline are its latest partners to sell the Unicast Video Commercial ad format.

The Video Commercial is a 2MB, 30-second ad unit, which Unicast said plays video up to eight times faster than traditional broadband units.

"With the majority of our audience now accessing Forbes.com using broadband, this is yet another way we can better serve the senior business leaders who use our site and, at the same time, offer new advertising opportunities to marketers to reach this highly desirable audience,” Bill Flatley, Forbes.com’s VP-chief advertising officer, said in a statement.
