Slack Barshinger hires president, chief creative officer

Chicago—Slack Barshinger announced that it has hired Bengt Sjogren as president. Sjogren was previously CEO of Interverbum, a Swedish-based global language management company. He also served as president-CEO of Tetra Pak, a former Slack Barshinger client.

Sjogren succeeds Don Barshinger, former president-chief creative officer, who retired last December.

Slack Barshinger also announced that Ron Klingensmith has been named chief creative officer. Klingensmith was previously creative director at the agency.
