SlideShare updates site for easier display, sharing

Published on .

San Francisco—Presentation hosting company SlideShare Inc. has redesigned its Explore and mobile Web pages, enabling users to find and share content more easily. Among the changes, users are now able to “like,” share and save presentations directly from the home page. The new design also features larger thumbnails of presentations and a new topics section that includes curated content in such categories as business and management, career, design and technology, SlideShare said in a statement. SlideShare, owned by LinkedIn Corp., now also allows users to log in with their LinkedIn passwords in order to follow their LinkedIn contacts within the SlideShare environment and to connect SlideShare updates with LinkedIn networks.
